I'd get a different mobo. It may have brown pcb (if you care about aesthetics). I have to make a mobo cover to make mine be out of sight.

Well if you look at the case i selected, It doesnt have a side window. You can't see the brown pcb, so not that big of a deal to me. Thanks for suggestion tho :)

Corsair likes to deny rebates.

I get 60 frames at 1080p on a dual core APU. Ask me how.

It's good for now ,but 2-3 years later if he upgrades he may need bigger wattage than 450

It isn't enough, capacitors have certain lifespan and as time passes, your system draws more and more power. In a year, his system will start crashing under load.

Example: New PC: 600W, 50% aged capacitors: 800W

My rig: CPU: Intel core i5 4670K MoBo: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4GB 1600mhz CL9 GPU: EVGA GTX780 SC ACX SSD: ADATA Premier Pro SP900 256GBHDD: Western Digital RED 2TB PSU: FSP Aurum CM 750W Case: Cooler Master HAF XM OS: Windows 8 Pro

Yeah i rephrase my sentence totally wrong,i meant for some gpu below 7950 450w would be on line, for 7950 and similar about 500/550 would be enough,600/650w is best

I'd throw in a little extra to your psu for a higher quality, since you've got that extra 50$ I assume.

Or another option pick up a 64gig ssd for boot drive.

another option, get 16gigs of ram as aposed to 8.

get unlocked processor for, for potential to overclock to increase the relative usefulness in terms of time (use it till it feels "slow" then oc" NOT WITH STOCK FAN)

other option, get a seperate cooling unit for your cpu

The two big ones here I'd look into, are the SSD and Cooler.

Depending on where you live, you may definitely want a different cooler, warmer places a stock cooler just won't do if it's a Cpu under load.

If you can get a cooler, a couple extra fans, for 50$ great. I believe a cheap AIO water cooler is almost 60$ from corsair, look for the sales.

No point in getting 16GB when the OP won't even use more than 8GB.

The op's budget is too tight to upgrade the cpu/mobo.

What kind of games are you playing?
