Gtx 770

I just get a second hand gtx 770 for $150. How do you guys think about that card for modern game, It only have 2 GB of vram is it too low for morden game?

it will work jjust not as good as some modern cards... its still not a bad card...

The GTX 770 is still good enough for modern days, 2 gigs of VRAM is considered about the minimum for modern games though. Also I don't think you got a very good deal on that 770, I recently got a 285 for my brother's build for about $115 used or so.

For $150 you could have gotten an R9 380 which is a superior card, and if you had sold your current GPU you could have gotten an R9 390 which is better than the dual GPU setup you have now in most cases, especially if you care about frame minimums. Dual GPU setups aren't ideal compared to single card systems, and especially older GPUs with limited VRAM pose a problem.

some of my friend said R9 380 will create a lot of heat so I will need better fans and power supply that can cause i spend more money on it

you are very lucky, the r9 285 on ebay are around $200. I live in a small town that no one sale computer parts on craigslist
