Around black Friday two years ago I purchased my Asus ROG gaming laptop. I chose to purchase a laptop even though I could easily build my own desktop because I use a computer for school often and plan to continue to into college. I have loved this computer and have had minimal problems both at home at my desk playing anywhere from CSGO to Far Cry 4, and at school taking notes or writing papers.

However lately I have it freeze up on me a couple times, at first I thought it was nothing and found after hard shutting it down by holding the power button when I powered it back on It would work fine. But yesterday it froze on me three times all spread out throughout the day. And I'm not sure if this makes a difference but all three times it happen I was watching videos full screen on YouTube. This has somewhat concerned me and I was wondering if their was a program I could use to check my computer for errors or if I should go ahead and reformat my computer to give it a fresh start. Or if it is just Windows being weird.

I will list my computer specs below but I doubt it makes much of a difference. Please give some feedback if you have any suggestions advice or previous experiences.

Thanks,

-Joe
