Thunderbolt Cards Compatibility

Hello Linus/Peeps, I need an insider on my Thunderbolt options in regarding Workstation Performance grade hardware . I am an establishing filmmaker starting a career in the (Photo/Video/Audio) industry. My current professions are as a sound and visual Technician, as part of my workflow from Apple platform, I use thunderbolt storage. As the demanding of 4K is, I need a upgradeable workstation machine under a strict budget using the new MSI C236A Workstation Motherboard With the Intel Xeon E3 1220 V5  CPU. I want to have a thunderbolt 2 Controller to be compatible with this machine. just being know to the whole thing of building a PC. I don't want compatible issues with the machine. So Does anyone have an insider for a card to install to make it have a thunderbolt interface.
