I would get bsod playing steam games all the tkme and it got WAy To repetitive, so I decided to reset entirely. Was this a bad idea? I thought it was no good due to drivers

do you have your computer overclcoked?

if your oc is unstable it could be a result of that

If you think all console gamers are "console peasants" then you dont belong to the pc master race

but the fan boys on the other hand...

From what I know, nothing is. I kept getting irql, memory man, system thread, etc when playing demanding games

how old is your hardware. i have heard that if components overheat from dust the temps can sometimes cause it to crash

Extremely new. The reset seems to be working . everything is smooth. I'm not really sure why it was crashing.

try running some stability tests to see whats causing.

i would use furmark to test the gpu. if it passes then test the cpu with aida64 or prime95.

if those both pass then try testing ram with prime95. if you can isolate the cause then fixing it is easy

and if the problem part is still under warranty it should be covered since it wasnt overclocked
