I found the cloud 1 for 80 and the cloud 2 for 120 on amazon I`m not sure its worth the difference tho

Its not

I actually prefer the ones because of the 2x 3.5mm with a 3 pole adapter if you want to use the mic with a laptop or phone

$70 for the cloud 1 at NCIX

$50 for the cloud core at NCIX (less accessories)

$100 for the cloud freestyle (not sure where it falls) at newegg

$110 for the cloud 2 at NCIX

I've dropped my current headphones something like minimum 60 times (5 years old pair of headphone, solid as cockhummm rock)

So are the hyper x 1/2 solid? Not like I drop mine on the floor anymore, but still is the build quality solid? And do you hear a freaking annoying hummmm all the time?

Metal design :)

And no I do not if you have a hum its probably from your motherboard.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Nah the hum' not my mobo, mobo is brand new, plus these headphones I used on my old xbox 360, had that same hum back them. Guess in the end dropping them so many times did damage sumting.

Maybe and probably. But some boards dont have good isolation causing a hum.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

So, you want to get some gaming headsets and like a lot of people , you heard good things about the hyper x cloud series

To break it down

Cloud/Cloud core
-The original that got all the praises and generally the most well regarded gaming headsets in the market
-Available in Black and red or black and white
-The Cloud Core is the same headset without some accesories and lower pricetag (normally)
-End in 3.5mm jack with an adapter to switch between 1 3-banded plug or 2 2-banded plug for mobile or pc use

Cloud 2s
-These are also generally well regarded as it is the same headset as the Cloud with some added accesories
-Usb soundcard is included which provides 7.1 surround sound, sound and mic volume controls and mic mute control
-This added function is sometimes faulty and many people have complained about them thus the large amount of people warning you to opt for the cloud and cloud cores instead of the cloud 2s
-Available in pink and white, gunmetal grey(which is black and grey), and the classic red and black

My advise is that get the cloud 2s if you insists on the wider range of colors.
If you really want it for the usb dongle and 7.1 surround sound, brace yourself because they're are more prone to die.

If non of the above applies, get the cloud or cloud cores, you won't be disappointed that easily.
