So I've just installed a new 170a gaming pro mobo with a i5 6600K and 8gb of DDR4 ram... and windows won't start but I can get into bios. Now I've read that it's because the I have the drivers from my old mobo on the hdd... and that I have to reinstall windows, but I've tried reinstaling windows with an old disk that I've already used and it won't let me install. It says that I have to restart my computer without the disk and boot windows normaly and then put the disk back in... BUT I CAN'T BOOT WINDOWS! and it dosen't let me install my new drivers from my new mobos disk!

I need help!

Format the hdd into either ntfs or raw/unallocated space first. You can use DBAN or UBCD from a flash drive or connect the hdd to a working system. Then install it.
