Thoughts on New Desk

So I'm really torn between buying a case or making a custom watercooling desk, so I'm consulting the LTT community on this. Basically I have access to every tool i would need and a very large workspace in my fathers shop to do this in. I would want to do a near silent build for this. Basically I haven't purchased anything or drawn up anything there just ideas right now. I was thinking of doing 4 of the Alphacool NeXxoS Monsta Quad 140mm rads. Simply put would this be acceptable for a custom loop? Also can you buy motherboard standoffs separately?

I'm going to advocate for the desk because I find them cool as all hell, and you can buy part brackets but you may be just as well off to make your to better fit the desk. As for silent, a custom desk would allow for insulation.
