Extreme Temperature

Hello, so I recently re-installed windows and when i booted my PC up, my Cpu cooler fans were spinning at max and I wasnt sure why or if this was a bug. So I opened corsair link and real temp and they both told me this.

Not sure why the temps are this high seeing as there is currently no OC applied and no applications are running.. Please help.

ive never seen  a core get 200C what the hell!

Reboot?

if not check the,.... oh no you are using an aio that shouldve been suffecent.

Everything besides the motherboard isn't high, its just in Fahrenheit. Is there an option to show Celsius?

no wait. 93C actually. thats below throttling temps (105)

err maybe fine if u dont car but you do so........................... reboot?

I rebooted but nothing has changed.. Gaaaah

Just tried using the program to turn the fans down but it wouldn't  budge the speed?

Use HWMonitor or HWinfo to confirm that the Corsair Link software isn't just bugging out. If it is, uninstall and reinstall.

Use another monitoring software. This one might be bugged or could be getting wrong readings. 

 

Keep in mind that if the temp was that high, the pc wouldn't start in the first place, or would just shut down as a safety measure due to the high temp.

The thing is, both the bios and real temp both say the same thing, and I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling corsair link and it did absolutely nothing.
