1st, ware is the video originating from? I.E. a camera and old tv show what?

2nd, what is the resolution of the tv? I.E. 1920 x 1080

3rd, do you know if there is more video in those areas ware the "black bars" are I.E. Video being cropped.

4th, does it do that with all video input?

5th, how old is the tv?

2. it doesn't say

3. yeah there is full video on the tv bit

4.not sure

5.about a year old

 

in addition i use an xbox one and it's 720p 60hz

So... The thing that's wrong is either the aspect ratio is wrong (example: 16:9, 4:3, 21:9 and so on...) it should be 16:9 for ANY tv you can really buy right now so... or the tv is not from a real company and it a ripoff...

 

P.S. If you don't know aspect ratio works like this;  The first number is width the second number is height, and there the parts so... 16 parts width 9 parts height, so like 16" wide 9" tall
