Why does this happen?

Why does this happen??? can I resolve this? The black bars BOTH sides of my tv.

Your TV is probably doing some scaling to a 4:3 aspect ratio or something like that.  Dig out the remote control for the TV and figure out how to reset the aspect ratio to 16:9.

Unfortunately i don't have the remote, furthermore there isn't a aspect ratio on my tv

1st, ware is the video originating from? I.E. a camera and old tv show what?

2nd, what is the resolution of the tv? I.E. 1920 x 1080

3rd, do you know if there is more video in those areas ware the "black bars" are I.E. Video being cropped.

4th, does it do that with all video input?

5th, how old is the tv?

in addition i use an xbox one and it's 720p 60hz

OK it may be a little different but try this go into the tvs menu and find the display settings, some ware there should be a size setting... Change it to 16:9 or "just scan" (may be different, this is samsungs...)

 

P.S. What brand is the tv?

So... The thing that's wrong is either the aspect ratio is wrong (example: 16:9, 4:3, 21:9 and so on...) it should be 16:9 for ANY tv you can really buy right now so... or the tv is not from a real company and it a ripoff...

 

P.S. If you don't know aspect ratio works like this;  The first number is width the second number is height, and there the parts so... 16 parts width 9 parts height, so like 16" wide 9" tall
