mouse mat help

Hello all,

I am going to very soon build my very first PC. I have one question for mouse mat, I have a really cheap and small one that I don't see myself using any longer and I was looking for some mouse mats and I came across extended mouse pads and I saw one on tech source http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WY1BMDM/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00WY1BMDM&linkCode=as2&tag=techs096-20&linkId=4PIR6E4CV4G462KC and I was wondering if it is any good for competitive play eg: CSGO and I know razer made one I just need help deciding with all the variables blended together. btw I am getting a corsair strafe RGB red switch keyboard if that helps.

I went with the corsair mm400. I wanted the extended one (covers whole desk, similar to your link) but my desk is not big enough

medium one works just fine for me. but I would still like the space if I'm being honest.

 

I play with 400-600dpi (depends on the weapon I'm using) and 1.3 sens ingame (I think, could be a bit higher or lower, haven't been able to play in a bit )

the surface is enough for those settings (medium pad) but don't get the small one. the small one is actually too small.

I did not find a mm400 extended tho but I am interested in the mm200 extended and the mouse mat that I chose what do you think?
