Good 1440p IPS 27" displays <$500?

Title says it all. What are the best 1440p 25"-27" monitors under <500 at the moment (preferably under $400 but...). Is there a well-know "best" or "go to"???

 

Any advice is appreciated, love this fourm. I just don't know where to start with this whole monitor thing.

Acer XG270HUomidpx with FreeSync 144hz 1ms  441€
AOC Q2577PWQ 60hz 5ms 350€

nothing with gscync at this price point ; under 400$ is ambitious outside promos (maybe prices are lower in the US don't know)

There is no "go to" screen, it depends on your use; if you play csgo go with 144hz, if you play diablo go with 75 hz, if you play civilization go with 60hz. Depends oon games you play, or w/e you do with it.

Freesync requieres an amd card btw.

The Asus MG279q was below $500 last week on Newegg, but it went back up.  I would keep an eye on it for when the price dips again.

At that price you'd rather get the Dell U2515H with far superior stand, QC and support.
