So recently I re watched Linus' mineral oil PC build guide to figure out which parts I would need to get to build it myself since Puget doesn't sell it anymore and was having a hard time getting a full list together. So, it would be much appreciated if anyone could put together a list of parts needed for this build. Obviously I can find a fish tank myself but I need a list of the more intricate parts. The PC is going to be full ATX and the motherboard is an ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard on the LGA 1151 socket so you have a reference for height and width of everything. The power supply is an EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+Gold Certified Fully Modular psu for more fitting details. If it means anything, there is also a Hyper 212 Evo cooling my cpu but Idk if depth is really a factor for this build. Also, if someone can find a way to mount a mechanical hard drive to this case that would be awesome because I do want some form of mass storage with my measly 256GB SSD.  Here is the parts list if you need any more information. https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ Thanks a lot in advance.

I had the same problem....thats why I sidelined that project for a long time now. DIY mounts for PC parts is no joke, especially when the whole thing has to go down in oil.....let me know if you've sourced mounting brackets and things like that.

The mounting brackets are the hardest part and I recently thought of just having them 3D printed, which is a great idea but I don't even have the parts for this PC, I'm waiting to buy them until I have the parts for the tank.

Yeah it makes more sense to model the brackets after choosing the parts

Exactly so I think I'll just have them printed but I really wish someone online had a list of parts because I've found multiple sources online for this kind of thing but no one lists their exact parts. Checking to see if someone on PCPartpicker has done this before now, will report back if I find anything.

As mentioned by infin8 getting a motherboard tray or removable system to lift out of the tank is ideal, you can get trays like from mountain mods or get custom made an aluminum chassis which can hold all the components and have a separate top section for HDD's out of the mineral oil, Spotswoods can do something like that.

One thing to note though make sure you have no rubbers in the tank or cooling components but to replace them with Nitrile seals instead as they are resistance to mineral oil.
