PC won't post

My PC will beep but it can't get past the boot menu. It keeps going in a continuous cycle of beeping, turning off and on again. VGA and HDMI I tried both. Plugging it into my motherboard for onboard graphics because my GPU is being sent back for RMA. What do I do

First I would check your ram

Then if that doesn't work reset you CMOS

How would I check my RAM? And what is CMOS?

Argee with @ELSknutson Check ram and there slots, clear CMOS and if that doesn't work, try reseating cpu and gpu

i have same issue.

 

 

already tried cmos reset and without RAM, even shuffled the slots to get a post but no luck?

 

the fans keep spinning , and i know that the psu is fine but got no post

Change the ram to another slot. To clear CMOS take out the battery that is into the motherboard ann unplugged the psu from the pc.

My motherboard only has 2 slots for RAM both of which are being

used.

Also my GPU is out of the case

Take one stick out test it. If it works then take that stick out and put it in the same slot if it work then you have a dead slot if it doesn't you have a bad stick of ram

I took one out and it still didnt work

remove all ram.. clean the contacts with an eraser..

also reseat the 24pin and 4/8pin power connections
