Hello, I am new to PC building, so excuse my newbie question.

I have a Thermaltake PC case at my home, but since I have lost all documentation, I have no immediate means of determining it's size. The reason I want to know it's size is to know if a Gigabyte G1 gaming gtx 970 will fit inside.

So, my quesiton is, how do I determine my case's size? Do I have to actually measure it's dimensions and then refer to some online standards?

Thanks a lot for any input.

Seek and you shall find.

If you have the exact model, google.

Otherwise, you'll have to use a tape measure

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

If it is a current model you might be able to find it on the Thermaltake website by just scrolling through the catalog. But if not, you would, I guess, have to take a tape measure (or something similar) and find the dimensions. You would really only need to check length, because most cases are fine with any width and height but small cases might be different. Good Luck!
