Windows 10 black screen.

On my laptop, I was running windows 7

and upgraded it a few months ago and it has been fine. However the last few weeks, it has started to stay a black screen after the windows login screen and the only way to startup the desktop properly is to start explorer.exe from task manager.

If anyone has had this problem and solved it it would be nice if you could share how you fixed it.

Many thanks ~ MattBoxer

Try using system restore if the problem persists after the restore then check your BIOS for the drive order, make sure your hard drive is first.

I have tried both of them but the problem still persists.
