I built an AMD a6-4700k spare desktop build with the intention of possibly using it as a backup server, as well as a spare gaming computer (I'm running a 7750 in it for light gaming). Right now I have it configured with CrashPlan since it seems fairly reliable, but it stores data in a strange format that needs to be "recovered" to access the files. I would like to be able to do daily backups, so is this method good or should I do something else to back up my data?

Also, is there any good NAS software that I can use to store all my movies and music on it?
