CPU cooler installation query

Hi,

I just installed a hyper evo 212 onto my 4690k. It went okay, but my temps are still hitting 30 degrees celsius at idle and I hit 55 in the witcher 3 on a mix of ultra and high. This was my first time and the cooler moved around quite a bit, and it is not in the middle of the CPU, ever so slightly ajar to the right. I can also see some of the paste oozing to the side on the left. Does this sound like a problem?

thermal paste shouldn't ooze out you may have applied to much if you have more you may give it another shot. that wont have an impact on cooling as Luke proved in an episode of the workshop but it will look cleaner and you wont have to worry about other problems i have the same cooler and get about the same temps so not much i can think of their but if someone else has a suggestion im interested as well

You can clean it off with alcohol and a coffee filter. You want about a grain of rice.
