Help for PC build(Scrapyard versions)

zehao39

I am plan to build a PC that totally use second hand component. My budget is about 400 US dollar. My plan now is FX8320 R9 280x and a 650W power supply. How do you guys think about my plan and can you guys  recommend a motherbord.

PS: where else than eBay I can get second hand component in the USA

Eh craigslist and stuff? Used computer hardware stores?

Idk if youre gonna get that for 400USD, the fx 8320 is still pretty much amds most recent cpu (lolz).

For gaming id probably look into some sandy bridge i5s or bloomfield i7s.

The problem with craigslist is I live in a very small town, there is not many people who sell things around me.

I can see why it is a bad ideal for psu, why it is bad to buy a second hand motherbord?

alot of the times its broken. I've seen people who have broken RAM slots, and defective CPU sockets but still selling them.

So i suggest you snap up a deal if you kind find a good one, else buy stock....Go for a G3258/ FX whatever + 750 ti combo

Please vote for Donald Trump. I am out of sitcoms to watch.
