Could tubes fall off?

I plan to use Primochill acrylic tubes an fittings.

Should I be concerned of the tubes falling of, if I mount them like this:?

if you use compression fitting or some sort of fittings at all then you shouldn't be concerned about it

not really. only if the PC is moved abruptly or handled vigorously.

they do make a fitting to compress the tube (requires adding/gluing a secondary tube for solid connections) to feel easy on those slip-fit connections.

Would it be a good idea to let the tube touch the ground in order the remove stress?

Or would that potentially damage the tube due to possible vibrations coming from the pump?

i would not allow the tubing to be rigidly supported (other than using a rubber mounted retainer to absorb vibrations - especially if mounted to pump) to avoid chaffing of the tube and eventually stress/make a hole in the tubing, when no easily accessed/visual.
