OSVR VS all others

hey guys,

just wondering how you all feel about the OSVR. I have the money to buy one but don't know what i should. what is your take on it compared to the other ones. any input is appreciated.

it's still a dev-kit

but for the price there is no competition

and you get a benefit of it being made of replaceable and upgradeable parts due to being open source

 

I honestly see only two competitors on the VR landscape - it's OSVR for being open source and StarVR for being best performance/hardware

thanks for the info man. i am currently learning how to code, so i am hoping i could use the headset as a learning tool as well. that starvr looks really badass tho with all them features
