1. Can someone please teach me / explain ripping from dvd's and blurays, right from inserting the disc into your optical drive to the end product, i dont care how detailed it is  :) please and thankyou in advanced.

2. Also whats the difference between h.264 and h.263?

Step 1, put it in the disk

 

step 2 run ripping software like itunes

 

step 3 watch movie

 

2. h.264 is a much better compression method

@Lil Chillbil explain step 2 in a lot of detail please

 

 

You click "rip" and it read the movie off of the disk
