Quick help for Fans

Go to solution Solved by Senzelian,

The stock fans are pretty much the same as the SP120's (High Performance).
The difference between the High Performance and the Quiet Edition is, that you get a resistor that you can plug inbetween the fan to reduce its speed and make it quieter.

I would stick to the stock fans. They work fine.

If you want something really quiet and high performance you should look into Noctua fans. But even that won't help much with the temperatures anymore.

So I have a H100i GTX on my 4790K with stock fans. Temps are fine (50-60°C) while playing games like BDO, but the top of my case gets really hot.

Now I had some Cooler Master Sickleflows lying around, decided to mount them but the noise is awefull.

So the question: Should I get SP 120's Quiet edition (with PWM) OR SP 120's High Performance (with PWM) OR just stick with the stock fans that came with the H100i GTX?

Note: My case is the H440 New Edition, I know it's not the best for airflow etc so which fan would suit met the best?
