I am looking at the Roccat Nyth for a Moba gaming mouse because of its custom buttons. I am wondering since it is a laser mouse if it is worth it? I've heard optical is more accurate but how much does that matter? Looking for thoughtful opinions. I also play some fps games. More importantly will it matter for a game like League of Legends? Thanks

Some mice with cheaper laser sensors have acceleration that you can't turn off, its just inherent with the sensor. Better quality mice will have sensors with very little acceleration, to the point where you wont really notice it

Optical sensors don't have that inherent acceleration, but they are also usually not capable of the same DPI range (not really an issue), and can sometimes be picky about what surfaces they are used on.

If you aren't a die-hard FPS player laser is fine. Even if you are, with a quality mouse the acceleration is minimal and shouldn't really be an issue.

What about fps shooters. I play them casually

i used a old dell up until last year and i played CS GO religiously with that shitty mouse and i made it to global elite in 7 months. a mouse doesn't really differ skill because you can always learn how to use the mouse you have. so get whatever mouse is more comfortable or even cooler looking there really isn't any advantage in numbers there might be but you can always learn to use the mouse and use it just as good as any other  mouse.

This is exactly the case for every mouse.  I use and intend on using trackballs forever and can game fairly well (though I don't play a lot of FPS anymore.) I have beaten Godlike AI on UT with the Logitech Trackman Wheel which is a great mouse, having not owned CS:GO I can't compare.

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

a trackball is that like that little nub in the middle of a keyboard on some laptops? i could see that in like point and click games but man that would seem really hard or even more annoying

Why would anyone use that?  lol.

This is THE trackball (as in, most popular.)  and what I use.
