Help with ram speed

Recently i downloaded NXZT cam software which allows you to monitor your system, i noticed my ram speed is displayed as 800mhz(http://imgur.com/wGepJxu) even tho it should be 1600mhz, is there something that needs to be tweaked in the bios or?

DDR = Double Data Rate.

800MHz x2 = 1600MHz effective clock. 

 

The RAM is actually running at 800MHz, but performs two operations per cycle, so the effective clock is double that of the actual clock.

Each stick is 800MHz, times two gets 1600MHz, this confused me for a while with my RAM, then I realised that each stick was running at 1200MHz for a combined 2400MHz.
