Okay so my girlfriend pretty much screwed her computer up. She can use it however whenever she uses the internet it explodes in pop-ups etc. I am attempting to use remote access to help her fix it as she lives in 3 hours away going to Uni. Bit to far of a drive just to work on her computer... However, I have never used remote access and I cannot find any helpful materials to help me with this. Any body got any help on this one?

Also while I have people here, I just built a P.C. and am running an HDMI through to T.V./monitor. I am having issues with sound. I know everything is working because whenever I test the speakers it plays some annoying sound through them. Also when ever I use a headset/headphones everything works great. However if I am not using headphones or running a sound test I get no sound. Any ideas on this one?

As far as the remote access I went with Venom's suggestion and worked well enough. It is a little annoying because I you can't changes to any of the programs but I can get her to where she needs to be and walk her through it from there. However I could have just used Skype's desktop viewer to do that lol.

Any ideas on the sound?

Did you set your default playback device to the HDMI-connected one? Right-click the sound icon in the system tray (bottom right of your desktop) --> Playback devices.

I did. Whenever I test the speakers it works fine but other than that no sound. I have sound using a headset or headphones but other than that nothing. So I don't know if I am missing a driver or what but it is driving me crazy having to wear a headset all the time.
