Hey everyone. I'm considering changing my planned build from the Fractal Arc Mini R2 to the Thermaltake Core V21. I have 2 GTX 980s, a XSPC D5 Photon 170 pump/reservoir combo unit, 2 240mm rads, and an EVGA G1 1000W PSU. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this case, and knows if I can fit all this in there. Ideally I would just try it out in store, but there isn't one around at the moment. If you think any other components are necessary to figure it out, let me know and I can say what else I have. Thanks for your help.

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

The flexibility is one of the reasons I built my setup in the Arc Mini R2 - although the options were more limited at the time for me. Since then a lot more cases have become available as the trend seems to be shifting to smaller form factor builds.

I've never come across that particular XSPC model, but the dimensions do fit, it depends on what graphics card models you will use. (PCB length).

I ran across this thread with a build log of that case with a D5 270 combo inside utilising a Windforce 970.http://www.overclock.net/t/1541334/build-log-thermaltake-core-v21-watercooled/40

It looks like it should all fit, though a second 240 Rad may pose fit issues. What orientation were you planning on using?

Thanks for responding. I actually have 2 different 980s, 1 gigabyte gaming G4D, and the other msi gaming 4g. I was planning to use the window facing up or to the side, whichever would allow for everything to fit really.

I reckon you can do it - Take a look at the build pictures here at the bottom of Guru3D's article: http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/thermaltake-core-v21-micro-atx-chassis-is-stackable.html

Based on those pictures: the motherboard is horizontal, both rads in the two mounts across the roof of the chassis. You would have to place the longer of the two GPUs (Gigabyte) so that the end would sit behind the reservoir, and have the reservoir directly next to the MSi card at the other side.

Looks very doable.

Thanks. Although gigabyte's pcb is actually smaller, the cooler is bigger, but that won't matter with blocks.
