seems very odd. Try reseating the graphics card it could have been marginally knocked. Is there another HDMI slot you can try on the card? Could also try reinstalling GPU drivers

Also reset your monitor settings and try the HDMI again

You could also try connecting the monitor to the XBOX 360 to rule out PC/monitor

i figured out something. VGA works when I took off the video card power cables. it doesnt work when its plugged in.I think the GPU is the problem.

Are you plugging the VGA into the motherboard???
