My ethernet shows no internet when connected to my computer.

No change. When I tried to diagnose the problem through windows, it says one or more network protocols missing from the computer

Go into your IP settings and change your DNS Server to something like 8.8.8.8 (Google) Yours are currently set to your gateway and your own machine.

The only thing we have to fear is... Stupidity...
