Hello! I want to build my first computer and I'm having trouble choosing a mass storage drive.  I came up with these conclusions:

WD - Black is what I need

Seagate- SUCK

I don't need more than 2tb.

I have a samsung 2tb 2.5inch HDD and I wanted to know if I should get the 2tb WD black or just stick with the one I have.

WD blue is really the better option for mass storage. Blacks are associated with speed so they are recommended for games.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB

I do game occasionally.  Is there any other brands that you recommend?

WD blue will be fine for occasional gaming, it just wont load as fast as a WD black.

Not really, I can certainly vouch for WD, but I haven't personally experienced any other companies HDDs so I can't say.

WD Blue will be fine... i have 2 Seagate Barracuda x1TB each one.... they be fine, but next month, i will change for two WD Blue, for games and quality.

Performance without style, there's no point. :-)

Sorry for any bad translation on my posts, im from Spain and speak a medium level of English... if something is wrong, please ask me for a better explanation. Thank you!

You shouldn't trust a single HDD these days (with how cheap drives are, there's no excuse to not run RAID-1/mirroring unless you really don't need the data).  But I've had very good results with Hitachi/HGST products.  Yes WDC owns HGST now, but so far, WD's traditional poorer quality hasn't rubbed off on them.

Backblaze (blog.backblaze.com) has a few tens of thousands of drives in service and has published some stats on what they've experienced reliability-wise.  Hitachi/HGST products rank extremely favourably.
