I can get my cpu to boot at 4.8ghz, with 215 base clock 22.5 multi, but as soon as I start prime 95 the system freezes, no bsod screen just frezes. but below that at 4.7 (215x22) it starts and runs prime fine and well below 61c what is going on here? I am running +100mv to cpu voltage, and all other voltages stock. I have a ecs a990fxm-a and 8gb of amd radeon ddr3 1600.

will update with list of bios settings tomorrow.

4.7 is nice overclock actually

Edit: actually pretty common with your setup. you could use it 24/7 without issues.

well I can boot with 4.8, 4.9, and 5.0 but can't get them stable

and I want to use the quiet setting for my cpu cooler so I have it at 4.5 with +50mv,. since my gpu is already my botleneck I dont even need an oc.
