XMP causing crashes immediately!

Ok so here we go:

I have 4 sticks of 4GB 2800 MHZ GSKILL Ripjaw RAM, all the exact same model, they came  in a kit. As expected in the BIOS by default the RAM is underclocked. If I select XMP profile and enable it my computer crashes upon startup and makes me load default BIOS configuration. If I manually set the DRAM timings to 16-16-16-36 for all the sticks (timings listed on the box, the website, and on the sticks themselves) the same thing happens. The computer crashes on startup and makes me load default BIOS. I have updated my BIOS to the newest non-beta version. Someone please help!

Some additional info:

Motherboard: x99 Gigabyte UD4

RAM: GSKILL RIPJAW 4 x 4GB 2800MHZ XMP  GSKILL RIPJAW 2800

GPUs: EVGA 980 Ti SC x 2 (SLI)

OS: Windows 10

BIOS version: F20

 

Not sure if I need to change something else, I don't know much about memory timings and all the other values you are able to change in the BIOS. Attached is a CPUZ screenshot of memory and SPD.

Sounds like XMP isn't stable for your system unfortunately. Not much you can do.

Is there no reason for that? My motherboard says it supports it.

Did you overclock the base clock of your cpu? In some tech tuber video they go over how increasing the base clock also effects other components such as ram and gpu.

Right now it is overclocked to 4.0 Ghz, but even at stock clock it does the same thing.
