Hiya all.

I'm running a GTX 970 w/ latest drivers and every so often when loading up games such as csgo and divison, my screen will go black and I have to shut it down using the power button on my PC, reboot, and everything seems fine.

All the cables are plugged in correctly.

Are the nvidia drivers still messed up for some people and so should I contact them?

Or what else could be the issue?

This happens once every 10 times of booting up games.

Cheers all,

LordPugIII.

is the GPU overclocked at all as that could cause the system to crash when to much load is put onto it, another option you could try is lowering the resolution before launch to see if it still crashes.

I used to get the same problem with my old 650Ti but it was because the card had wiggled lose over a few months of use so make sure the graphics card is in tidy.

Also have you checked your temps to make sure its not your CPU overheating and causing the crash, CSGO isn't very demanding but it could be bad thermals causing a throttle and system shut down...
