Help w. custom keybinding

I want to re-bind my media keys to function in youtube from within a game. I would like to play/pause without alt-tabbing for cut scenes and such. If I can do play/pause I see no reason not to include all the other buttons too. I was thinking maybe set it with a ctrl augment so I don't lose the media keys original functionality. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?
