Hello Everyone!

I'm building a new at home workstation rig and recently discovered folding at home to which I would like to contribute what I can to the cause; my family has been affected by cancer, alzheimers & parkinsons.

My question to the community is if anyone knows if the new Quadro series of cards are supported? I saw the tips and tricks section mentioning GTX cards but didn't see anything about Quadro cards unless I missed it... I plan on using a new Quadro M5000 for my build. Along with a 5960x & 32gb of ddr4.

Another question would be is 32gb enough ram for folding or would 64gb be better?

GTX Cards perform much better price wise, as they are the same GPUs as in the quadros. Folding does not use much RAM At all.

My current build - Ever Changing.

Number 1 On LTT LGA 1150 CPU Cinebench R15

The card should be supported no problem. It has all the consumer features a regular GTX card has, and the architecture is also pretty similar as well. It should work just fine.

You could even go with a mere 4 gb of RAM and still be fine. Folding doesn't make much use of RAM.
