Raspberry pi - tft screen flashes

Guest

I'm working on a portable emulator but the tft monitor isn't displaying properly. I've tried wall power supplies and GPIO pins to power it but it displays properly in a short burst, every 2-3 seconds. My raspberry pi model b is being powered by this: http://www.amazon.com/Duracell-Instant-Charger-Universal-Cable/dp/B002FU6KF2/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1458840701&sr=8-3&keywords=duracell+battery+bank

and works fine. This is the screen I'm trying to use: http://www.amazon.com/Generic-Rearview-Monitor-screen-Backup/dp/B005CFLMNC/ref=cm_rdp_product

And here's a review about using it with a raspberry pi: http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1FDV9GO4GEVG1/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B005CFLMNC

someone in response said " I tried the USB cord splice hack mentioned in this review and it while it "works", it really doesn't because the screen requires more power, which results in the screen briefly flashing the video feed every 1-3 seconds. 5v isn't enough to run the screen without making modifications to the internals of it. needs a minimum of 6v and a max of 12v." I tried using the 3.3v gpio but then it does nothing with 5v it flickers. I probably need to get a new battery bank. What should I do? If I need a new battery bank please give me links to cheap but decent ones.
