So I have been trying for a while to install windows 7 on my friends PC but it does not seem to be working. I am trying to do a clean install on this computer with windows 7 and running it with raid 0. I have set up a raid Group in the bios and set up the option ROM utility   When I try to install windows it says " We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one." Or it may say that the cannot be used to install windows. I am not sure why this is the case. I tried to install the drivers as well and it says the raid drivers are not signed and could not be used. If anyone has any experience or advice, it would be much appreciated.

Can you be a little more specific. I tried using 3 of the raid drivers on the asus website and windows 7 says none of them are signed and cannot be used.

Hate to be this guy, but you should have gotten a 500 GB Samsung 850.

I'd just use the two SSD's separately if you can't get them working in RAID.

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001
