I'd like to be able to control my computer from school and other places. Preferably be able to boot up and shut down from remote location (Is that possible)

I do this so I can render and upload to YouTube when I'm at school. :)

So yeah. Is it possible to turn on and turn off a computer through a remote location, and control it?

Thanks.

RDP? Teamviewer is pretty cool there's an android app and I'm sure Ios app as well. Can't power it on though, might be able to do a wake on lan though. But teamviewer is nice, check it out.

You know how it is, the cow goes "moo", the dog goes "woof" and the gamer goes "The PvP is unbalanced."

Yeah. I've used teamviewer in the past, but keeping my computer on isn't something I really want to do.

What If I put the computer to sleep?

My computer drops the internet connection when it's asleep so that doesn't work well, I just lock it locally then unlock it when I'm using it. The program also locks it when you disconnect.
