Need help choosing laptop.

Hello! I'm looking for a new laptop to replace my old MacBook and I am kinda overwhelmed by choice. I would like your help to help me distinguish the good from the bad. I would like it to have a pretty good performance cpu and gpu. (For the cpu, in thinking about 2.5ghz, and for the gpu, hopefully better than a gtx 960m) and 16gigs of RAM. I would like it to be capable or playing medium to intense demand games. I would like it to be large at about 15 to 18 inches, and about 2 to 2.5 kg(5.5 to 7 pounds) and my budget is 1400 to 1900 US dollars. Do you actually need something you can move around? Because if not Desktops are the way to go since you get more performance per dollar.

Any other requirements you need for a laptop? Like battery life and what nots

Battery life woiled be nice, but it's not overly Nessaray because I will most of the time be able to plug it in. Hopefully not too bulky (thickness wise) so probably like an inch thick.
