Active window flashing

So I reset windows the other day, because.... why not? Ahhhhh that clean desktop and no bloatware! But lo' and behold when I'm using a program it will flash sometimes when I click. Its almost like it starts minimizing for a split second and then stops. I have updated my graphics card drivers (Nvidia) and run Malwarebytes. Windows 10. Any suggestions?

Install Windows 7?  Or Install Linux?  

 

In all seriousness confirm that all of your drivers are up to date an correct. (Not only the GPU driver) Usually systems with bloatware installed also have special drivers installed with them. In your reset you may have removed a few of those drivers causing your problem. 

 

Look for the chipset driver for your particular machine in specific.

Update: It's almost like it is Alt-Tab'ing on its own every 30 seconds.

If you unplug your keyboard and mouse does it continue to act the same way?

Yeah. I've tried that a few times. Its a Windows thing that only happens when I click in a program. wtf

Frankly that's bizarre... and I can understand how annoying that would be. I know you did a reset but have you thought of doing a fresh clean install?

I know this is fixable. I thought about it.  I really don't want to do that.
