2016 3d workstation build for 3dsMax/Maya/C4d

ok i have been researching hard and I think this is my best most cost effective build for entry lvl 3d workstation solution for under 4k. Its a very forward thinking design with huge power for any task, and yes I am sure you can game with it at a high level. This is my parts list:

(2X) Intel Xeon E5-2620 V3 2.4GHz 6-Core Processor
Cooler Master Seidon 120V 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Cooler Master Seidon 120V 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus Z10PE-D16 WS SSI EEB Dual-CPU LGA2011-3 Motherboard
Crucial 32GB (2 x 16GB) Registered DDR4-2133 Memory
Samsung 950 PRO 512GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
(2X) EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card (2-Way SLI)
Solid Gear 900W ATX Power Supply, 
I think this is the best forward compatible, 3d rendering ring I can come up with for under 4g's... any thoughts on this build?  If anyone see's any major flaws in this build please let me know before I build it :)

First off, that board does quad channel memory so you preferably want 4 or 8 sticks of RAM per socket. Second, those CPU coolers perform fairly similar to much cheaper air coolers. Third, I would recommend a PSU from a more reputable brand such as Corsair, EVGA, or SeaSonic.

sorry copied the wrong memory setup and yes I was going too cheap on the psu ... but thanks for that I would have hated to order the wrong thing on accident :)

You forgot a case my friend.

 

Also make sure you buy extra case fans. You're going to need them to get the heat out of whatever you buy. Water cooling will help with controlling airflow so I say stick with that.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

Yeah it looks decent except for the CPU coolers, they are as effective as the 212 EVO but over twice the price.

yeah Im going with corsair hi100 coolers and I have a case :)

 

i am doubling that ram so it will be 4 sticks 32 gbs

 

I could spend almost 3000 on an i7 rig single processor and would not be optimized for 3d animation tasks ... I think this general direction is the way to go right now if you are entry level 3d artist that cant spend 10 grand on a unit... gives you the power where it counts I think, what do you guys say? Seems like for these tasks I can get way more cores for the money this way and have huge gpu crunching as well. I also believe this rig can be overclocked some... to what extent I am not sure as I dont know much about it, seems not that hard though, I hope I am on the right path here.
