It depends on the games, but it will be good enough, so I wouldn't bother upgrading it unless you're playing games that are particularly cpu intensive.

It should be fine paired with a 950.  You could always get an AMD gpu and use that APU/GPU linky whatchamacallit to squeeze out a tad more graphics performance.

I assume you're referring to dual graphics, in which case the R7 250 is the highest supported card, and which is outperformed by a single R7 260 by a decent bit. Nvidia would be the better option to pair with a lower end cpu like OP has as Nvidia has a lower driver overhead than AMD (which can make a big difference with low end CPUs).
