Safe voltage for 980ti

What is a safe voltage for the (Gigabyte G1 Gaming) or any gtx 980 ti. My current voltage is 1.012v

Anything under 1.3V.  You won't damage the card on the stock BIOS anyways.

Good also right now I am testing some overclocks but every stress test or burn in test only says I am using 60%tdp or the core clock is 595 and mem at 6610 when I have it overclocked to 8.95 on mem and 1461 on core. Why is it saying that it isn't using those settings?

Just put the voltage and power target sliders to the max. You won't be able to damage the card even with a non to fubar custom Bios.

You're probably trying to dial in an overclock that is too high.  What numbers are entered into the software you use?

Did you have one of those "the driver stoped working and had to be restarted" messages? If yes you need to restart, most of the times this error locks your card to stock settings untill the restart. If not, what perfcap does GPU-Z show you?

I am only trying to hit 1400mhz and it is pushing it down to 595

if you try to clock it too high it'll default to something werid and low.. at least thats what it did for me and whenever you try to change anything it'll go straight back to it. the only way i fixed it would be to restart

Remember that your card will still boost too.  +180Mhz on the core should allow it to boost up to over 1500Mhz.

What settings are inputted into the overclocking program?

PerfCap is the reason why your card is throttled. Could be max voltage, max pt and other reasons.

i really really doubt that the card can hande a 1200 MHZ Ram overclock ( or is this the standard factory overvlock for this card?). Also you did not increase the max voltage to the core so that might be one of the reasons. Try running a benchmark and make a screenshot of GPU-Z while doing so.

I did before and I have been able to reach 9ghz on the memory before
