It will not work as it is AM3 and not AM3+

 

FX 8350 is AM3+

According to the official CPU Support List provided by Foxconn, a FX 8350 is not officially supported.

I found a Foxconn A88GMX for C$75 on ebay so I would like to use it on a FX 8350.

Do you think this should work?

FX series would work on it IF it had a BIOS with added support for them.

Without BIOS, it might work, but it most likely isn't stable and instead keeps erroring.

OK then I wont buy it since there hasent been any BIOS update except for "Full Release out of Beta"

Yeah, also you can just get a new 970G motherboard for around the same price anyway.

Not in Canada. The cheapest I can find is C$140 on pcpartpicker canada.
