...after leading the way for so many platform outings we get a roadmap with low watt blah and little glimmers of hope for the e line of dies ....why ..i get that amd is lagging waaayyy back on the high end (and i long for the day when a amd chip pushes into i7 area of preformance) and you dont have to push very hard to release amazing features ...i just feel left out im not with the low watt thing aside from die shrinkage ...i want my 8-12 core with ht and a new memory controller with 40+ pci lanes ...

stop whining, you know how hard it is to make that? lett alone the develepment costs, btw by reducing the wattage you save on your electric bill, whit the money you save then you can buy a new cpu wich also cunsumes less and so on....

I mean we all wish for a world where every new CPU gets a 20% performance boost and stuff but the truth is A) We really don't need the performance. I mean gen 2 intel processors are still plenty powerful enough. And B ) Everything's becoming more about  power efficiency and portability things like ultra books phones and tablets will replace the desktop in almost everyone's houses. Save for power users like gamers editors etc. Really there is no reason for normal people to have a high powered computer with the newest most powerful intel processor in it. I mean hell a intel core cuo is more then enough for most people, so why spend millions on R&D making a super powerful CPU when no one really needs it?

My Rig "Corsair air 540, MSI Z87-G45, i5 4670k, EVGA ACX 780, Gskill sniper 2x8gb 1866 memory, Corsair CX500m modular 80+ bronze, corsiar h100i, toshiba 1.5tb HDD." / Peripherals "Acer H226HQLbid Black 21.5" (Main monitor), Acer S200HLAbd Black 20" (auxiliary), Razer blackwidow ultimate 2013, razer naga 2013, razer goliathus 444x355 speed edition, Sennheiser HD8 DJs"
