Here's an old video (that I did not make) should still work today

Your 144Hz monitor will have to operate at 60Hz to game in surround

Cheers man but I can even get that far I get this message come up

Saying that the displays are not the same timings and when I set the timings I can configure surround but it has a fit and doesn't work

Are you already running the 1440p panel at 1080p?  Set that up in Windows, not the nVidia control panel.  Same with the panel's refresh: set it to 60Hz in Windows display prefs, not the control panel.  Once you have that done, you should be able to tell the nVidia control panel to go into surround mode.

I appreciate the steam game but don't need it.  Just pay the help forward.

You need to open the Display Properties; it's usually in a right-click menu, or it might be in the control panel.  I'm not sitting in front of a Windows box right now so I can't remember.  But the key is to not do any of this in the nVidia Control Panel yet.  You need to find the Display Properties for the 1440p panel and kick it down to 1080p/60Hz.  You'll set the resolution first, and then you'll need to dig into the "Monitor Properties" to find the specific refresh rates.

Once all of that is done and all three panels are running 1080p/60Hz, you can go into the nVidia Control Panel and kick Surround into gear.

Still not working dude,

my 1440p monitor is listed as a genercic pnp monitor and when I try and change the refresh it just goes back to 59

so I tried dropping the other 2 monitors down to 59 and it still wouldn't work

any ideas ?

59 == 60 in this case, so that's fine.  Do you have the 1440p panel running at 1080p as well?  Or is it still running at 1440p?

You might have to disable GSync with the big panel.  Do that in the nVidia Control Panel.

I haven't tried doing a surround with a configuration like you're doing because it really doesn't make a lot of sense.  It's meant for panels of the same physical size and resolution/refresh.  I really don't think you're going to enjoy the results even if you do get it working.
