defenately gonna want to keep that 970 and storage around, is that all you can re-use from the old build, or are there more parts to it?

i'm thinking something along these lines to start with, those two extra cores will REALLY make your streaming horsepower skyrocket.

The psu i can save also its a corsair cs750m and im thinkning of getting water cooling for the cpu(if i its not to hard to fix).

So not worth getting i7-6700k instead of i7-5820K? but isnt i7-5820K like 2-3y old?

isnt it worth getting the newer cpu(technology) even tho i7-5820K got 2 more cores?

I think 4 cores 8 threads or better for streaming, so the cheapest option is probably a xeon 1231V3 on the 1150 socket. If you prefer an 1151 socket then the cheapest will probably be an i7-6700. The reason these are very viable options is because you can get away with budgetmobo's (under $100) and budget cpu coolers. Choosing a non K-processor could save you hunderds of dollars. I like manikyath's 2011-3 build too.

The ¨newer¨ technology only has a 5% better ipc. Not worth it, especially since DDR3 still isn´t a bottleneck. The 5820k will K.O. the 6700k in streaming.

Think im gonna get the 6-core but cant find MSI X99S SLI Krait Edition can only find MSI X99A SLI Krait Edition wich costs 100$ more then the other wich blows(living in sweden).

So is it worth the extra 100$ or should i look for another motherboard for around 200-230$?

Edit: What windows should i get win7 or 10? Home or Pro?
