network troubles

I have a dp-link router and i have it connected to a older router from netgear by a ethernet cable i routed in my craw space to play on my pc and ps4 with ethernet but ever since i have done this ( a week ago) my bro can't connect to the wifi because it can't find a ip or something like that. I am running the netgear router at the client brigde mode
