Here's the deal, I bought a physical copy of GTA V so I can avoid the massive download from steam (my internet is pretty f*ckin' slow).

I think it's what they call a retail copy, since I activated it through the Rockstar social club.

After installing there is an 8Gb download. Everytime I pause the download, it says that the connection to the server is lost, and resets the download from the start.

I read on google that it's possible to download the files manually and paste it into the directory.

Do you happen to know where I might download those update files ? I don't think I can avoid pausing the download.

If not, just any fix to this whole download resetting problem.

CPU: Intel i5-4590 | Motherboard: Asus H97M-E | GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 390 | RAM: 2x4Gb Kingston HyperX Fury Black | SSD: Sandisk Plus 240Gb HDD: Seagate 250Gb  | PSU: Seasonic G650 80+ Gold | Case: NZXT S340

I am who I am.

You have to download it using their client.

Pause the installation. Close it. Then re-open it.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
