Hard Disk Detection Issues

I was running Win10 and my PC crashed while I was using it. It then didn't restart and it just showed a cursor after the motherboard logo flashed. I suspected something was wrong with the Windows installation, so I thought I'd take a back up of my Windows partition and re-install Windows. While the hard disk shows up in my BIOS settings, when I tried to access it through Ubuntu, it just doesn't show up on the list of hard disks.

 

Any idea as to why I'm having this issue? And any solution?
